![]() I lost the tips of several fingers in a mishap back in my time as a tiffy in the old HMS Nottingham, so I make do. I use an Xbox 360 controller for a number of PC games. If you computer can port 'game controllers', maybe consider a race-game steering-wheel with a throttle? Has anyone made anything like this? I'm okay with hardware and soldering and whatnot, but I can't figure out how to make something like that work (Again, not good with software).Īny other old salts out there with ideas? Wheel, X number of labeled buttons, and an EOT. I've been trying to use a Razer Tartarus v2, which might work well if I could remember my key bindings or change out the 'mecha membrane' keycaps. I also have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick, but can't for the life of me figure out how to configure it (there's a reason I drove ships and didn't operate radar). ![]() My hands are pretty mangled from arthritis and CT, so I can't really use a keyboard well. I was a Master Helmsman, and since this is as close I'll get to actually helming another ship again in my life, I'd like to have that same kind of bridge control for this game. ![]() I don't know if this is the right place, but I have a question about controllers. ![]()
